NASSAU, Bahamas — The Bishop of Motivation, Spence Finlayson, Bahamian international motivational speaker and corporate trainer, recently inspired the staff of law firm, McKinney, Bancroft and Hughes, at its administrative professionals day luncheon.
McKinney, Bancroft and Hughes is one of the largest and oldest law firms in The Bahamas and conducts an extensive international and domestic practice from its offices in the cities of Nassau and Freeport.
Spence Finlayson spoke on “Team Bonding” and he used former Los Angeles Lakers head coach Pat Riley’s “teamwork” concept. Riley said the Lakers won back to back championships because of teamwork.
He went on to say, “Teamwork is the essence of life. And teamwork is an interactive relationship, whereby all of us are either hired or brought together for whatever reason to get a result. It is the essence of life in sports. And it is the essence of life in business. In order to be successful as a group of people the dynamics of being a team are all the same. People have to come together for the common good.”
Finlayson’s high energy, dynamic and humorous presentation was very well received, with the firm’s senior partner, Brian Moree QC, giving him high marks for a job well done.
